Meet the Team
LyNann studied Multiple Subject Elementary Education at San José State University and also studied at Drake University, giving her a strong foundation in how children learn, grow, and build confidence in the classroom.
In addition to her academic background, LyNann previously worked as a GYROKINESIS® Trainer at Moving Expressions Center in California, a dance-focused studio known for nurturing children in a positive, age-appropriate environment. LyNann genuinely loves working with children and brings a calm, supportive presence to every session.
David brings decades of academic, professional, and real-world experience to his work with students. He holds an MBA from Golden Gate University, a Master’s degree in English from Brigham Young University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University.
His background includes university instruction, adjunct professorships, tutoring, and extensive professional experience in writing, communication, and leadership. Beyond academics, David is a Wood Badge–trained Scout leader, a basketball official at the high school and city levels, roles that reflect his commitment to mentorship and lifelong learning.
Beyond the Classroom
Outside of tutoring, LyNann and David enjoy spending time together staying active and creative. They are avid long-distance cyclists and also enjoy horseback riding, activities that reflect their shared appreciation for discipline, balance, and time spent outdoors.
They also work together as DJs for weddings and parties, blending organization, creativity, and collaboration. Whether they’re supporting students, staying active, or creating memorable events, LyNann and David bring the same teamwork, positive energy, and commitment to everything they do.
